TRIPLEX

38-62 11th Street, Long Island City, NY 11101

ABOUT:

Venerable brick facades, an all-encompassing rooftop view of Long Island City and a mysterious history makes “Paretti Hall” an unconventional and inciting building. The interior is over 10,000 square feet with a maximum capacity of 800 people. Natural light from large double hung windows. Exposed brick walls surround the ground floor, mezzanine and main banquet hall. White decorative plaster ceilings ranging from 12-26 feet high. A wrap-around balcony with cast-iron railing overlooking the lower level from the second floor.

Before the eponymous James Paretti converted the building into “Paretti Hall”, as inscribed on the façade, it was the potential headquarters for Tammany Hall. The black and white “Exile” sign remains as a remnant of the former punk nightclub where The Misfits exhilarated the crowd. This unique place is the optimal setting for live performances and weddings. Only a six-minute walk from the F train, Rooftop access offers a gleaming view of the Queensboro Bridge, Ravenswood Generating Station and Roosevelt Island.
